Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Hushfluff AI Tales ("Hushfluff", "the Service"), operated by Pyformix AI Labs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all platforms: our website at hushfluff.com, the iOS app, and the Android app.

Hushfluff AI Tales is an AI-powered bedtime story generation platform. It allows parents and guardians to create personalised children's stories tailored to a child's name, age range (2–15), interests, and preferences.

What We Provide

• AI-generated personalised bedtime stories
• Story narration (text-based and audio where available)
• Child profile management (up to the limit of your subscription plan)
• Reusable character library per child
• Story history and library

What We Do Not Guarantee

• Uninterrupted, error-free service at all times
• That AI-generated stories will always match your exact expectations
• That story generation will always succeed on the first attempt
• Permanent storage of stories beyond our standard retention period

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You must provide a valid email address and maintain accurate account information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.
• You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Child profiles are sub-profiles under your account — children do not have their own accounts.

Plans

• Explorer (Free): 3 AI stories per month, 1 child profile, standard features.
• Dreamer ($8.99/month): Unlimited stories, up to 3 child profiles, premium features, offline access.

Billing

• Dreamer subscriptions are billed monthly. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice.
• On iOS: payments are processed by Apple via the App Store. You manage your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
• On Android: payments are processed by Google via the Play Store. You manage your subscription in your Google Play account.
• On web: payments may be processed by Stripe.
• Prices are displayed in USD. Taxes may apply depending on your jurisdiction.

Free Trial

• Where a free trial is offered, it will be clearly disclosed before you subscribe.
• You will be charged at the standard Dreamer rate when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.

You agree not to use Hushfluff to:

• Generate content that is violent, sexual, hateful, or harmful to children
• Attempt to manipulate or "jailbreak" our AI prompts to produce harmful output
• Circumvent story generation quotas through fake accounts or automated tools
• Reproduce, resell, or commercially distribute AI-generated stories without our written consent
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our apps
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Harvest or scrape content from the platform using automated means

We actively monitor for quota abuse and prompt injection attempts. Violations may result in immediate account suspension.

• Not professional advice: Stories are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute educational, psychological, or medical advice.
• Imperfect outputs: AI can occasionally produce unexpected or imperfect results. We have safety filters in place but cannot guarantee every output will be perfect.
• Parental supervision: We recommend parents review stories, especially for younger children.
• Content moderation: Our prompts are designed to produce safe, age-appropriate content. We apply additional safety layers and content filtering.
• No originality warranty: AI-generated stories may share thematic or structural similarities with other stories — this is a known characteristic of language models, not plagiarism.

Ownership of Generated Stories

• You provide the input (child name, preferences, theme) and you own the resulting story for personal family use.
• You may print or save stories for personal, non-commercial family use.
• Commercial use, resale, or publication of generated stories requires our explicit written consent.
• We retain a non-exclusive licence to use anonymised story parameters for AI model improvement and service analytics.

• The Hushfluff name, mascot ("Hush" the fox), logo, design system, and all original platform content are owned by Pyformix AI Labs.
• You may not use our brand assets, trademarks, or mascot without written permission.
• All app source code and platform technology are proprietary.
• Feedback and suggestions you provide may be used by us to improve the service without obligation to you.

• Hushfluff is designed to be safe for children aged 2–15. All story generation includes content safety filtering.
• Accounts are managed by adults. By creating a child profile, you confirm you are the child's parent or legal guardian.
• We do not allow children under 13 to create their own accounts (COPPA compliance).
• We do not expose children to advertising within the app.
• Child profiles use emoji avatars — no photos are ever collected or required.
• If you believe any content generated by Hushfluff is harmful or inappropriate, please report it immediately to hello@hushfluff.com.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PYFORMIX AI LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF HUSHFLUFF, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain types of damages — in those cases, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

• You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time from the app Settings.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately for serious violations of these Terms.
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases. Your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.
• Clauses related to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pyformix AI Labs is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We encourage you to contact us first at hello@hushfluff.com to resolve any dispute informally. If we cannot resolve a dispute within 30 days, either party may seek resolution through the courts of competent jurisdiction.

EU/UK users: Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU or UK consumer protection law.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or in-app notification before changes take effect.

Continued use of Hushfluff after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with updated Terms, you may cancel your account before the effective date.
